Privacy and data
This is a provisional explanation for the MVP. The legal owner, processing locations and retention periods for website and contact data must be confirmed before a final privacy notice is published.
Website and preferences
This website is hosted on Vercel. Your chosen language is remembered for up to one year in the wm-language cookie. Your theme preference is stored locally in your browser. The website includes Vercel Speed Insights for performance measurement and checks with the WattsManaged app whether you are signed in. This is not a guarantee that no data is sent to external services.
Contact and waitlist data
The current form processes your name, email address and optional country for your interest in product updates. The server adds an IP address and timestamp, uses IP addresses for request limiting and attempts to send an email notification. The current implementation writes submissions to a file and uses SMTP for notifications. Final storage, email service, processing location and retention will be established during the separate registration review.
Product energy data
Energy data is separate from information you enter on this marketing website. The stated retention period for product energy data is three years. Local-first is a design goal; storage location, external connections, telemetry and update requirements have not yet been confirmed. We therefore do not promise that all data stays at home or that the product works entirely without the cloud.

Email info@wattsmanaged.com with questions about data processing or to request deletion of your contact or waitlist details. Only provide the information needed to find your registration; do not send energy history.
